Long Drive Golf and the Home of Paul Glazier, Sports Scientist

Science & Golf Conferences

The World Scientific Congress of Golf (WSCG) is the forum recognised by the Golf Science Steering Group of the World Commision of Science and Sports for the presentation and dissemination of original scientific research into golf. To date, there has been four WSCG congresses, each one producing a peer-reviewed proceedings in book form—the Science and Golf series of books. The chapters contained in each volume are generally empirical papers or current status reports covering a broad spectrum of topics from the biomechanics of the golf swing to the physics of club-ball impacts through to course architecture and the economics of the sport. The Science and Golf series is an excellent addition to the golf-related scientific literature and a must have for any technically-minded golf fanatic.
