I managed to come away from Amsterdam this weekend with a victory in the 2008 Amsterdam Longdrivers Clash. The event, held in conjunction with the Amsterdam Golf Show held at the Amstedam RAI, featured a select field of Europe's finest long drivers, including 2007 RE/MAX Order of Merit Champion Janos Uotila and world number 12, Joe Miller. Once again Jules van Marken and his highly competent team organised the competition superbly and the players would especially like to thank Karl Gross of Deheeg Web Hosting for sponsoring the event.

The distances (on a Pro Tee Simulator) were:

1st - PAUL GLAZIER - 355 m

2nd - JANOS UOTILA - 353 m

3rd - PHIL NAYLOR -  341 m
