TOP PROFESSIONALS IN LONG DRIVING JOIN "EURO LONGDRIVERS"

Top players from across Europe who participate in the sport of long driving today joined EURO LONGDRIVERS - an organisation setup with the express purpose of creating a series of long driving events for both amateur and professionals, culminating in the Euro Longdrivers Championship.

The organization is owned by the players who's main aim is to promote the sport of LONG DRIVING and allow them to showcase their unique talents.

Few could have envisioned the rapid world wide growth and popularity of the most spectacular aspect of the sport of golf "THE DRIVE".

During the past few years qualifying event for the WLDC in the U.S.A. have been held across Europe in different countries. It is the considered opinion of the European long drivers that in order to ensure the growth of the sport a European Tour and Championship must be realized.

The first championship for both amateurs and professionals will be held in Amsterdam on September 6 and 7, 2008.

An annual competition between Europe and the U.S.A. is also being planned.
